On a business site the dish is rarely the constraint. A single Starlink link is fine for a small office; it stops being the constraint the moment you want guests, a yard, a workshop or a camera network on the same connection. That is where the accessory layer does the work: power injection over the Ethernet run, access points that cover the areas the dish cannot see, and switches that keep the whole thing manageable without a rack full of kit.

What makes a business deployment different
- Power has to travel. A PoE injector removes the need for a mains drop at the terminal and allows the dish to sit where the sky view is good rather than where the power is.
- Coverage is the actual deliverable. An outdoor access point in an IP67 housing extends the network across a yard, a car park or a campground pitch area.
- Single-cable runs. One Ethernet cable to the terminal is the difference between a tidy installation and a bundle of second cables.
- Maintainability. Outdoor-rated kit in a cabinet needs a PoE switch that can be monitored rather than guessed at.
- Power budget. Injection power and access point draw have to be planned together, not ordered separately.

What to confirm before quoting a business bundle
- How many simultaneous users and what they are doing — browsing, video, or cameras.
- Coverage area and whether the buildings are indoor, outdoor or mixed.
- Distance from the terminal to the switch, and whether a single Ethernet run is achievable.
- PoE standard in use and the total power budget including any existing devices.
- Cabinet or outdoor enclosure requirements, and its ingress rating.
- Whether the site needs an uplink beyond Starlink, such as a 5.8 GHz bridge to a second location.
