Starlink Accessory Compatibility Chart: Every Kit and Every Accessory Type

One table, no marketing: which mounts, power supplies, cables and cases fit which Starlink kit, and what changes between revisions.

Compatibility questions account for a large share of the support load in this category, and most of them come from a buyer who had a valid table and did not notice a footnote. This chart is the consolidated version. It covers the accessory types we manufacture and the kits they fit. Where a fit depends on a specific revision, we say so rather than leaving it ambiguous.

Mounts

Our magnetic roof mount and the four-cup suction roof mount are engineered for the Starlink Mini mast and footprint. The Mini's compact geometry is what makes both possible, and neither of them will correctly hold a Standard dish — the collar geometry and the load path are different. Our pole and rail mounts come in two clamp families: the Mini clamp and the Standard clamp, and they are not interchangeable. If you are building a range, that is four mount SKUs, not two, and the bundle structure has to reflect it.

Power supplies

The 36V regulated DC supply with integrated battery is a Mini accessory, and it is not a mains supply for a Standard kit. For mains installations, the kit's own supplied power unit is the correct answer, and our value in that case is the enclosure, the extension and the cable management rather than the supply itself. For 12V and 24V vehicle and marine systems, the DC-to-DC units are specified for a Mini load and verified against a 24V input range. The same applies to the DC cable assemblies: our 3 m, 5 m and 10 m runs terminate to the Mini's DC interface, with IP67 jackets and oxygen-free copper conductor.

Cables and connectors

Every DC cable in our range is Mini-terminated, DC 5521 to DC 5521, in 3 m, 5 m and 10 m. The interface is the same across the range, which is deliberate: it means an installer can carry one spare length instead of four, and it means your spare parts inventory is simple. For the Standard kit we do not currently offer a replacement DC cable, and we would rather say that plainly than sell a termination that will disappoint at the vehicle.

Protection and power distribution

Our 150W PoE injector and the outdoor WiFi 6 access point are not dish accessories in the narrow sense — they are the power and network layer around a Starlink installation, used where a PoE switch or an outdoor cabinet serves the terminal. They are kit-independent and work with any terminal that accepts PoE. The outdoor access point is IP67 rated and powered from the same PoE switch as the rest of the site, which is what removes the need for a separate mains run in most deployments.

Enclosures and cases

Our protective cases and enclosures are sized for the Mini's footprint and its accessory kit. A case that is dimensioned for a Standard dish will not close over a Mini, and a soft case for a Mini will not protect a Standard. Check the internal dimensions against the kit you are shipping, and note that a Mini kit plus a pole clamp and a supply needs a larger case than the dish alone — this is the single most common cause of a case that arrives and does not fit the accessory set.

How to use this chart

Treat it as the starting point for a quotation, not as a substitute for a physical check when you are introducing a new product. If you are planning a range, send us the kits and quantities and we will return a matrix with the MOQ tier per line and the compatible bundle structures. We keep this data as a maintained record rather than a static table, so if a kit revision changes a fitment, the answer you get from us reflects the current hardware.
